Ranbir Rishi Kapoor was born on the 28th of September 1982, into a family that has enough history to boast of to last another few centuries. Son of the star couple Neetu and Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir is also the grandson of legendary film maker Raj Kapoor and great grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor.

Ranbir studied in Bombay Scottish and later in Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, whose alumni include Matt Dillon, Julia Roberts and Uma Thurman, to name a few.

This young stunner made his debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya opposite Sonam Kapoor in 2007. The film stood out for the fact that it launched two new promising talents and Ranbir's performance received much recognition. The star is all set to take his career in Bollywood to greater heights and do his legacy proud.
